It is 4:30 in the am. It is raining really hard. I just woke up and of course the rain made me think of Washington.
BIG NEWS:
WE MOVE TO THE CAMP THIS SATURDAY!!!

Gol, I am excited. We have kept very very busy doing all sorts of different things. Yesterday we almost finished completely remodeling the bathroom at the base and fixing the fence on their property.
One of our greatest challenges is to not let the "urgent' supercede the 'important" I am very excited to get to the camp. Supporting that ministry is so important . Many lives are changed and ministries furthered at the camp. But  there is a huge amount that must be done in the short period between when one can get in and when the camp opens June 1. There is much to do after that time to finish projects and make the campers stay less rustic, but the crunch time is NOW.

Please forgive me for not writing sooner. My excuse is that I cant always get the internet, but that is just an excuse. I could go places where I could get it.
Ready to go!
We are in Cascade. It is a beautiful place with beautiful people. It has been quite the blessing to minister to those missionaries who do not have time to do simple maintanance to the things around their lives -  rotten supports for holding up their homes, floors,etc.- a lot of winter damage,  building things to be installed in the camp when the snow melts enough to get in. Although Beryl and I did manage to get into the camp, on snowshoes, it is still far too snowy and frozen to achieve anything but survival - so we will probably be in the town for another two weeks. We are right now living in the home of a family on a mission to India. We will live in one other home of a missionary befrore moving to the camp.

When I answered Gods call to YWAM I knew it would be tough, but this month has been a doosie. I think I should have written down every conversation because half of so many of them have come back to snare and trip me. A lesson Adam tried to teach me but I didn't listen.
Thank you Chris for your prayers Wednesday and your encouragement.

We are in Oregon! We went to the ocean today with our Grandkids and their parents. The ocean always speaks to me of the faithfulness of God. His love is unending and constant. "Everything around me may change, but He does not.
"Speak to me, Lord!", I say. He says "Listen" God speaks to me through the ocean.
